Brewing in Buffalo and Western New York

Brewing and Buffalo have a long history together. This site is dedicated to the men and women of the Niagara Frontier who spent countless years building the local brewing industry and an area tradition.


Buffalo enjoyed having its own locally brewed beer from approximately 1811 to 1972 and once again from 1986 to the present with the current trend of local micro-breweries continuing on toward the 21st century!
